The Florida Oracle Application Users Group (FLOAUG) is a geographic user group dedicated to increasing its members' knowledge and understanding of Oracle application products. Our mission is to improve the success of the Florida Oracle community through a unique support group composed of professionals and experts who share ideas, solutions, and experiences related to the selection, implementation, and on-going maintenance of Oracle applications. The FLOAUG is a perfect venue to collaborate with your peers. We meet several times a year to provide educational and networking opportunities for Oracle users, prospective users, Oracle representatives, consultants, third party product companies, and other interested parties.
The FLOAUG, an affiliate of the OAUG, is independent of Oracle Corporation. Membership is FREE and OPEN to all Florida Oracle application users. My entire career has been devoted to working with the Oracle Applications. I have been lucky enough to experience being a consultant and end user. I started my career as a consultant for Deloitte specializing in Oracle. During my seven years at Deloitte, I completed 13 implementations and 7 upgrades in a variety of industries including Public Sector, Health Care, Manufacturing and Technology. While at Deloitte, I was the Deloitte representative for the Atlanta OAUG chapter and represented Deloitte at 3 OAUG conferences. I have been at the Aviation Authority for 3 years and am the manager of the Financial Applications. The responsibilities of my department include business process transformation, application management and support for the eBusiness Suite, PropWorks (Airport Specific Agreement & Billing Application), Sage (Government Specific Fixed Assets Application) & Paychex (HR & Payroll Application). My eBusiness specialty is the Financial and Procurement Suites. I also have extensive experience in Project Management, Event Planning and Financial Reporting/Budgeting. This experience has come from both my professional and personal life.
